Fate, Luck and Personal Assessment

Wishful, plain wishful..... First in the queue? Unlikely........

I would say that what has happened to me during my life mostly revolves around fate and luck.

By luck, I got into N(A) stream of a good school in my neighborhood.
By luck, I got into a Polytechnic with only 3 credit passes to my 'O' levels.
By luck, I understand that what you see from the outer shell of a person does not define his character. Humans are shallow. I'm not to be spared.

By fate, I met some wonderful friends around me.
By fate, some special people left some wonderful memories in my life while others just walk off without a trace.

I dare to say I fought for what I achieve over the years but many of them were opportunities created by people and I just merely took it by the hand and make full use of it.

In job application form, there would usually be a section of personal assessment. It would probably ask for an assessment of your own strengths and weakness.
This would be probably be what I would write:

Strengths:

Team player
Analytic
Willing to learn

Weakness:

Indecisive
Non-aggressive approach

I know I left somethings off my hook due to my decisions of dwelling for a better opportunity. In the end, I lost out but luckily I still kept something valuable from it; friendship. But for some, I wasn't so lucky; I lost both.

I think that if you really love your parents or someone special in your life, don't miss the chance to say that you love them because once they are gone, its never going to come back. Never a chance will that 3 letter sentence be able to translate into happiness again.
